Ottoman Large settee

It was while working on a concept for a hotel in Marrakech that the designer had the idea for this model, inspired by the traditional Moroccan footstool. The project never got off the ground but we were captivated by the oriental charm of this piece, filled with 'zenitude', comfort and wellbeing. Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, through his work on quilting and colour, knew how to bring the creative 'added value' which has rooted the model in modernity, 'for keeps'.

Paipaï Large settee

Païpaï is a project which unfolded from a simple gesture : folding a piece of paper to create a closed shape. And thus a visibly comfortable cocoon seat is born. The folds mark the foam, shaping its contours and giving emphasis to the armrests, thus creating the identity of the settee, which was named after the Pai-Pai fan which itself has a characteristic rounded shape. The Païpaï collection was designed to offer the best possible seat comfort thanks to the height of the back and the judicious use of high-performance foams.

Taru Large settee

Through the Taru settee, the designer’s intention is to create a comfortable place to sit which shows off the craftsmanship and expertise of Ligne Roset. Taru is comfortable and welcoming, with its fully upholstered base giving it real character. The seat is also intertwined with its subtly curved backrest in a bi-material treatment. It is available as a large settee, medium settee and 1-arm settee (left or right). This model's originality springs from the vast potential for mixing materials (fabrics and leathers) and colours thanks to the superb rear section of the back, which may be customized as desired. This is a settee with two faces which is thus worth showing off as much for its front view as for its upholstered rear view. It may be complemented with an optional back cushion to further accentuate the model's comfort, and/or a footstool with an identical base to that of the settee.

Noka Large settee

The name Noka refers to the Japanese country house, whose floor is covered with tatami mats providing an exterior corridor to create a link between the heart of the house and the vast exterior. For the designer, Noka evokes both “anchor” and “bridge”. While it makes you feel at home, Noka is also welcoming and therefore connects you to others. Like on stilts, it is stable while offering a new perspective. This new Noka upholstery range is modular to create “the suspended space you need”.
