Selvans Hallway unit hanging + shoe storage

THE CONCEPT From Christian Werner, designer of the EVERYWHERE range of storage, now comes SELVANS, which is characterised by the use of grooved dark-stained walnut veneer on its fronts and sides. The width of the channels is 4 mm both at the top and in the hollow. The depth of the grooving is around 3.5 mm. CONSTRUCTION & FINISH - DARK WALNUT : internal compartment finished in chocolat decorative melamine ; handle and base finished in chocolat lacquer. Front and edges in dark walnut. Top in ceramic stoneware. - NATURAL ASH : internal compartment finished in chocolat decorative melamine ; handle and base finished in chocolat lacquer. Front and edges in natural ash. Top in ceramic stoneware. - BLACK-STAINED ASH : internal compartment finished in chocolat decorative melamine ; handle and base finished in noir lacquer. Front and edges in black-stained ash. Top in ceramic stoneware.

CONCEPTION : although it might be evocative of certain metal modular systems from the office world, Dita clearly distances itself from these in a number of ways: its lacquered panels are in wood rather than sheet metal; its discreet profiled uprights with their sophisticated finish are perfectly placed, cast and not part of the structure; a matching handle which is light and beautifully designed; and its small, slim feet which continue the line of the structure in a very natural way. QUALITY OF MANUFACTURE & FINISHES: uprights are in 15 x 15 mm anodised aluminium section in a brushed bronze finish. These frame the wooden panels which are finished in argile lacquer on the interior faces and in a choice of 15 colours for all visible exterior faces: - white satin, argile and perle (standard), - beige, brick, chocolate, make-up, moutarde, sage, black, lead, bleu nuit, mahogany brown, copper, platinum grey (to order).
