Ettoriano Carver chair anthracite metal base

Designer: Claudio Dondoli & Marco Pocci
Available both as a chair and as a bridge, Ettoriano offers a contemporary solution which is both discreet and comfortable. The convinced minimalism of the Ettoriano chair allies the finesse of its steel base with an all-enveloping one-piece moulded shell. Made from felt, it is the warmth of this very current material which reinforces the feeling of comfort procured by the welcoming curves of the integral shell, designed as it is to hug the body. In the case of the bridge, the lines of the moulded felt shell sketch out two flared armrests which offer excellent support to the forearms.
Rocher Chair/bridge black black lacquered base

Designer: Hertel & Klarhoefer
A resolutely urban graphic collection, easily accommodated and accessibly-priced. The Rocher collection picks up on the trend for fractal design as characterised by its faceted construction. In actual fact the surface of the shell of the Rocher chair, an envelope which does duty as seat, back and arms, seems to have been cut like a diamond. It sits on four steel feet finished in lacquer to match the shell. Easy on the eye, it combines easily with a large number of dining tables, be they classic or contemporary in style.

Designer: Pierre Guariche
Designed in 1954 by Pierre Guariche for Steiner, the Papyrus chair is one of the 5 chairs that changed the destiny of Steiner at the beginning of the 1950s. Its thin seat with its unique curve suggests the technical possibilities of thermoformed plywood. A silhouette, a round and sensual shell, resting on a metal base. The Papyrus chair by Pierre Guariche is the first French wooden chair designed in a single piece. The backrest, while robust, is relatively flexible and thin. Please note that the armrests remain in solid beech, even on the upholstered version. All chairs and carver chairs are equipped with wrap-around tips under the feet. WOODEN VERSION – NON-UPHOLSTERED : Shell in moulded plywood and stained beech veneer. Black lacquered steel base, stained solid beech armrests. Beech armrests for carver chair in both versions. UPHOLSTERED VERSION : The shell is cladded with high resilience polyurethane Bultex foam (48kg/m3 – 7.1 kPa). 5mm baguette stitching on the outer of the chair. ...
